The Rhyming Challenge is a great way for young readers to learn letter sounds, to learn about common letter groupings, to enhance phonic awareness, to discover how different spellings can produce similar sounds and to foster rhyming ability.

Rhymes are words that have a similar sound at the end of the words. The two words have to sound the same... they can but don't necessarily have the same letters at the end of the word.
